The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
